An illuminated archway ‘Macaws’ was created for the Wakah Chan stage of Astral Harvest, an electronic music festival in northern Alberta. The piece was designed to bridge the temple experience of Wakah Chan with the other 4 stages of the electronic music festival.
The installation can be viewed as one horned face or as two macaw faces look out from the centre with radiating wings and tail feathers. Constructed from plywood and programable LED lights, the installation measured 24′ wide and 8′ tall.
