Lanterns
Robson Valley Music Festival was looking for an art installation to enliven a newly cleared chill area near the main stage. Kendel Vreeling and myself designed lanterns with organic patterns inspired by their environment. The lanterns illuminate the area by casting light in the pattern of the cutouts on the ground. We constructed the lanterns out of stained mahogany plywood lit by LED lights.
